Can you read and speak Mandarin?  Every Monday week B, at 9 am, the Foundation Stage children are waiting to enjoy a big stack of Mandarin children's books.  They just need someone to read to them!

Join this very rewarding, fun and worthwhile CAS project, by speaking to Mr Thirkell or Ms Davidsen, this week.

Also wanted: readers of Indonesian, Tagalog and Japanese ...

Urgently needed: students in both Year Groups to switch from current projects to assist with the Can and Bottle Recyling, which is currently undermanned. Please see Mr Thirkell by end of week if you can switch projects.

IB students host the highest dignitary to date to visit Sekolah Bisa! Mr Dillon spent 3 hours in the company of IB students Rohan Thomas, Suka Junin, Dian Anderson and Rebecca Tan.  

Fery, a 14 year old Indonesian boy who has not been schooled, and who has up to this month collected recyclable materials), is now undertaking work-experience at BIS (in the PE Faculty). He needs a highly focused maths and Bahasa Indonesia lesson Mondays Wk B (Pds 2 or 4) and Thursdays (5 and 6). If an IB or a KS4 student (Yr 10 and 11) who speaks Indonesian can support him, one to one, please inform me. For the volunteer, it will mean leaving your current project to assume a new responsibility. Mr Thirkell  

Any KS4 student who wishes to support Mrs Laura Wright's Primary PE activity ONCE a week, at a lunchtime (Wed or Thurs) - please see Mrs Wright immediately. Students supporting the activity have the option to use the Monday Wk B CAS period for supervised study.

All students should check the CAS Project List on display in Tutor rooms and go promptly to activities, Pd 2 or 4. Those supporting primary classes and PE should go directly to the activity. 

1st Birthday Sekolah Bisa

From Thursday 02/02 until 09/02 we will be selling Valentine Chocolate at Break and Lunch time in the Secondary Foyer to raise money to educate girls. This is the start of our Girl Effect campaign.

Buy some chocolate and we will deliever it for you on Valentines Day - Rp20,000 for two chocolate hearts in a beautiful box.
