JIS Road Race – Sunday 13th November 2011
Well done to all the BIS runners, students, parents and teachers who participated in the 5K race, 2.5K Fun Run or 100m sprint at JIS at the weekend. Mr McClure, Mr Stewart & Mrs Davidson were all spotted striding out around the course!
As always, there was a lovely atmosphere and the morning started off with a lively Zumba warm up by Agus. Despite the hot weather, some excellent race times were achieved. The Overall Male winner, Dwi Janarko, a local Indonesian runner, completed the race in a time of 16:27.
Congratulations to all the BIS students who won medals. There have been some corrections to the original result due to an error with the computer programme! All results and times will be posted online at: www.jakartafreespirit.org
