PTA Picnic Off to a Flying Start

PTA Picnic Off to a Flying Start

The first PTA event of the year kicked off on 2nd of October with “Picnic in the Park” on the BIS school grounds. Also on offer was a number of organised activities. They included Football clinics run by Lee Hawkins of ASA, Family Tennis Fun by Jeff Landau, an Outdoor Skills session by idGuides, a children’s entertainer, and a kite workshop held by the Kite Museum. The day was perfect for kite making and parents and children alike were seen flying their kites throughout the afternoon. Teamwork compass reading was one of the skills being taught in the session by idGuides. The ever popular football and tennis clinics were also well attended. Even the younger children were kept enthralled throughout the afternoon with Pak Dodo, our children’s entertainer. Parents, staff and students were seen everywhere relaxing and enjoying the free day.
